办理更新护照 Renew Passport.

今天请假去更新护照。
起了一个大早，七点二十分到达Wangsa Maju 移民厅。已经有大约二十人在排队了。
工作人员准时七点半开门。大家很有秩序的进入移民厅索取号码。
误打误撞之下排在二号柜台，以第一位的排位申请更新护照=)
(而其实二号柜台是给第一次申请护照的人民排队拿号码的。)
各个柜台的工作人员陆陆续续返回自己的岗位，展开新一天的工作。
大概等了十分钟，就被传去申请更新护照。递交旧的未逾期的护照，身份证，两张护照型相片和申请表格后，在多等十五分钟缴交费用，就成了。整个过程不到一个小时。还来得及回公司上班，呵呵......可是假已经申请了，就处理一些私人的事吧！顺便准备明天的旅程-马六甲之旅=）
可惜的是，不能同一天领取新的护照。

Purposely apply a day of leave to renew my expiry-soon passport.
Reach Immigration Office of Wangsa Maju at 7.20am. and wow, there were almost 20+ early bird queuing in front of the entrance.
And i myself follow the Q as well (to be a good citizen right ;b).
Immigration officer open the door sharp at 7.30am (this is so great! Punctual! A star for them) and so lucky i got the 1st number and being the first person to renew passport!
Well, after waiting for about 10 minutes, my name being called.
By submitting NRIC, old passport, 2 passport-size photos with application form, the officer-in-charge key in information in front of me. After scanning right and left thumb print of mine, they will print out a so call e-application form for you to stamp on your right thumb print again.
After all, wait for another 15minutes to submit renewal fee, will get a receipt in return. check on the details, and just leave the immigration office as the new passport only available on coming Monday.
The whole process took me less than one hour. But what regret is, cannot collect the new passport on the same day at current.
